Section 25-22.5-8-2 - Offenses(a) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this article by unlawfully practicing medicine or osteopathic medicine commits a Class C felony (for a crime committed before July 1, 2014) or a Level 5 felony (for a crime committed after June 30, 2014).(b) A person who, before July 1, 2015, practices midwifery without the license required under this article commits a Class D felony (for a crime committed before July 1, 2014) or a Level 6 felony (for a crime committed after June 30, 2014).(c) A person who knowingly or intentionally acts as a physician assistant without the license required under IC 25-27.5 commits a Class D felony (for a crime committed before July 1, 2014) or a Level 6 felony (for a crime committed after June 30, 2014).Amended by P.L. 112-2014, SEC. 27, eff. 3/25/2014.Amended by P.L. 232-2013, SEC. 17, eff. 7/1/2013.Amended by P.L. 158-2013, SEC. 284, eff. 7/1/2014.(Formerly: Acts1975 , P.L. 271, SEC.1.)
