Section 25-19-1-17 - Administrator in training; student intern(a) This section applies to an administrator in training or a student intern seeking licensure as a health facility administrator.(b) An administrator in training or student intern may take a specialized course that:(1) is approved by the board as described in section 18 of this chapter;(2) includes instruction and training on: (A) standards of competent practice;(B) facility administration and management;(C) housekeeping and laundry;(E) dietary needs of residents;(F) facility related activities;(G) business office management; and(H) facility admission and marketing; and(3) may include instruction and training on other subjects.Amended by P.L. 17-2024,SEC. 13, eff. 7/1/2024.Added by P.L. 149-2023,SEC. 40, eff. 7/1/2023.
