Section 20-40-22-10 - Distributions deposited in education fund or equivalent fund; money to be used for curricular materials
(a) A school maintained by a school corporation that receives a distribution of money from the curricular materials fund under this chapter shall deposit the amount in the education fund of the school corporation that maintains the school. A charter school that receives a distribution of money from the curricular materials fund under this chapter shall deposit the amount in the charter school's education fund, or, if the charter school does not have an education fund, in the same fund into which state tuition support is deposited for the charter school.
(b) Money received from the curricular materials fund under this chapter by a public school may be used only for the costs of curricular materials and shall not be subject to collective bargaining.
(c) The state board of accounts may take action, including the establishment of an account code for the funds into which distributions are deposited under this section, to track expenditures of money distributed for curricular materials.
