Section 20-35.5-1-6 - "Reading specialist trained in dyslexia" "Reading specialist trained in dyslexia" means a professional who:
(1) has expertise in and either has or is working toward an endorsement or certification, as determined by the department, in providing training for: (A) phonological and phonemic awareness;(B) sound and symbol relationships;(E) rapid naming skills; and(2) is fluent in the response to intervention process; and(3) has been trained in the identification of and intervention for dyslexia.Added by P.L. 95-2018,SEC. 2, eff. 7/1/2018.
