Section 20-25-3-1 - Board of school commissioners; corporate name(a) The government, management, and control of all common schools and common school libraries in the school city are vested in a board of school commissioners that consists of seven (7) school commissioners.(b) The corporate name of the school city is "The Board of School Commissioners of the City of ____________" (the blank being filled with the name of the civil city), and by that corporate name the school city shall:Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-3-11-1.
