Section 20-19-4.1-5 - Study topics
(a) The panel shall study the topic of aligning school accountability with graduation pathway requirements under IC 20-32-4-1.5(b)(1) and recommend new indicators of school performance to replace measures or indicators established under IC 20-31-8-5.4. On or before October 30, 2019, the panel shall submit recommendations to the general assembly in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 and to the state board.
(b) When reviewing indicators the panel shall consider including:
(1) postsecondary preparation indicators aligned to graduation pathways requirements, including the graduation rate;
(2) an on-track indicator or indicators based upon student credits; and
(3) postsecondary outcomes.
