Section 20-19-10-8 - Duties The commission shall do the following:
(1) Discuss and review the most up to date information regarding best practices, pedagogy, and policy for civics education.(2) Make recommendations and provide guidance for statewide implementation of the recommendations established by the 2020 Indiana civic education task force and any other recommendations established by the commission.(3) Make, as applicable, recommendations to the general assembly, the state board, and the department regarding civics education.Added by P.L. 39-2021,SEC. 2, eff. 7/1/2021.
