Section 15-16-2-49.5 - Violations; penalties(a) If a person violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter, the state chemist may:(1) warn, issue a citation to, or impose a civil penalty on the person; or(2) deny, suspend, revoke, or amend the person's registration under this chapter.(b) The state chemist shall adopt by rule, under IC 4-22-2, a schedule of civil penalties that may be imposed under subsection (a). The state chemist may impose a civil penalty only according to a schedule of civil penalties recommended by the board.(c) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this chapter commits a Class A misdemeanor.As added by P.L. 120-2008, SEC.59.
