Section 14-29-6-9 - Rules to designate rivers(a) Based upon the study and recommendations of the director, the commission may adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to designate a river for inclusion into the system.(b) Before adopting rules, the director shall do the following:(1) Notify each adjoining or abutting landowner of the plans and recommendations by registered mail.(2) Conduct a public hearing in the county that contains the largest section of the river being considered.Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 13-2-26-5.
