When the breaking down of coal is not done "on shift", and while men are in the mine, the drillers and shooters or shot firers shall immediately after the completion of their work, post a notice in a conspicuous place at the mine, which shows the number of shots fired, the number of shots not fired, the entry and room number of unfired shots and reasons for not firing any unfired shots. They shall keep a permanent daily record of the number of shots fired, the number of shots they did not fire, and the number of shots that failed. The record shall be in the custody of the mine manager and shall be available for inspection at all times by interested parties.
