All members of the Medical Licensing Board and the Medical Disciplinary Board shall serve as members of the Medical Board. A majority of the Medical Board members shall be appointed within 260 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly. The Medical Licensing Board and Medical Disciplinary Board shall exercise all functions, powers, and duties enumerated in this Act to the Medical Board. All functions, powers, and duties enumerated in this Act to the Medical Licensing Board and Medical Disciplinary Board shall dissolve at such time when a majority of the Medical Board is appointed. This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly.
