Section 410 ILCS 130/57 - Qualifying patients(a) Qualifying patients that are under the age of 18 years shall not be prohibited from appointing up to 3 designated caregivers who meet the definition of "designated caregiver" under Section 10 so long as at least one designated caregiver is a biological parent or legal guardian.(b) Qualifying patients that are 18 years of age or older shall not be prohibited from appointing up to 3 designated caregivers who meet the definition of "designated caregiver" under Section 10.Amended by P.A. 101-0363,§ 55, eff. 8/9/2019.Added by P.A. 099-0519,§ 5, eff. 6/30/2016.
