Section 410 ILCS 525/13 - [Effective 1/1/2025](a) Violation of this Act is a Class A misdemeanor.(b) Any person who violates this Act shall be liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 for each violation.(c) The Department may request the Attorney General or the State's Attorney of the county in which the violation occurred to proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction to secure such relief as provided in this Section, as well as injunctive relief to restrain violations of this Act.Amended by P.A. 103-0962,§ 5, eff. 1/1/2025.This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
