Section 70 ILCS 1816/15 - (Text of Section from P.A. 103-605) Powers(a) The Commission may request funding from any federal, state, municipal, or local government or any other person or organization for purposes of the Commission within the Commission's jurisdiction. The individual port districts within the Commission's jurisdiction retain authority to request funding from any federal, state, municipal, or local government or any other person or organization for purposes of the individual port districts within the Commission area.(b) The Commission may enter into a memorandum of understanding or intergovernmental agreement with the State, a unit of local government, or a federal governmental organization in the performance of its duties.
