Section 70 ILCS 1320/2 - Duty of court

After such agreement shall have been entered into it shall be the duty of the court finding any person guilty of the violation of any ordinance of any such board of public park commissioners punishable by imprisonment to sentence the person so found guilty to such house of correction, and for the violation of any ordinance of such board of public park commissioners punishable by fine, it shall be the duty of the court to commit any person who shall wilfully refuse to pay any fine so imposed by the said court, to the said house of correction under Section 5-9-3 of the Unified Code of Corrections, there to be received and kept for the time and in the manner prescribed by law and subject to the discipline of said house of correction, and it shall be the further duty of said court by warrant of commitment duly issued to cause such person so sentenced or committed to be forthwith conveyed by some proper officer to said house of correction.
