Section 60 ILCS 1/50-5 - Time of election and terms outside Cook County(a) Except as provided for Cook County in Section 50-10, and subject to the requirements of the general election law and the referendum provisions in Sections 50-25 and 50-30, at the time of the regular township election provided in the general election law, there shall be elected one township collector. The collector shall hold his office for a term of 4 years and until a successor is elected and qualified.(b) At the time of the regular township election provided in the general election law, there shall be elected a township supervisor. The supervisor shall be ex-officio supervisor of general assistance. The supervisor shall hold office for a term of 4 years and until a successor is elected and qualified.(c) At the time of the regular township election provided in the general election law, there shall be elected one township clerk. The clerk shall hold office for a term of 4 years and until a successor is elected and qualified.(d) At the time of the regular township election provided in the general election law, there shall be elected by ballot one township or multi-township assessor, as the case may be, in the manner provided in the general election law. The assessor shall hold office for a term of 4 years and until a successor is elected and qualified.
