Section 20 ILCS 5010/10 - [Scheduled to be repealed effective 1/1/2032] Composition of the Commission(a) The Commission is composed of 22 members as follows: (1) 19 public members appointed by the Governor, one of whom shall be a student; and(2) 3 ex officio members as follows: (A) the State Superintendent of Education;(B) the Executive Director of the Board of Higher Education; and(C) the Director of Veterans' Affairs.(b) The President and Minority Leader of the Senate shall each designate a member or former member of the Senate and the Speaker and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives shall each designate a member or former member of the House of Representatives to advise the Commission.Amended by P.A. 099-0642,§ 135, eff. 7/28/2016.Amended by P.A. 098-0793,§ 5, eff. 7/28/2014.Added by P.A. 096-1063,§ 10, eff. 1/1/2011.
