Section 51-110 - NOTARIAL ACT IN THIS STATE(1) A notarial act may be performed in this state by: (a) A notary public of this state; or(b) Any other individual authorized to perform the specific act by the law of this state.(2) The signature and title of an individual performing a notarial act in this state are prima facie evidence that the signature is genuine and that the individual holds the designated title.(3) The signature and title of a notary public described in subsection (1)(a) or (b) of this section conclusively establish the authority of the officer to perform the notarial act.[51-110, added 2017, ch. 192, sec. 3, p. 444.]Added by 2017 Session Laws, ch. 192,sec. 3, eff. 7/1/2017.
