Section 52-627 - Status of Receiver As Lien Creditor

On appointment of a receiver, the receiver has the status of a lien creditor under:

(1) Article 9 of title 42a of the general statutes as to receivership property that is personal property or fixtures; and
(2) Any provision of the general statutes that provides for filing on the land records of a town a certificate as to receivership property that is real property.
