Section 46b-500 - Testing results; challenge(a) Subject to a challenge under subsection (b) of this section, a person is identified under sections 40 to 50, inclusive, of this act as a genetic parent of a child if genetic testing complies with said sections and the results of the testing disclose: (1) The person has not less than a ninety-nine per cent probability of parentage, using a prior probability of 0.50, as calculated by using the combined relationship index obtained in the testing; and (2) a combined relationship index of not less than one hundred to one.(b) A person identified under subsection (a) of this section as a genetic parent of the child may challenge the genetic testing results only by other genetic testing satisfying the requirements of sections 40 to 50, inclusive, of this act that:(1) Excludes the person as a genetic parent of the child; or(2) Identifies another person as a possible genetic parent of the child other than: (A) The person who gave birth to the child; or (B) the person identified under subsection (a) of this section.(c) If more than one person other than the person who gave birth is identified by genetic testing as a possible genetic parent of the child, the court shall order each person to submit to further genetic testing to identify a genetic parent.Conn.
