Each health care center governed by sections 38a-175 to 38a-194, inclusive, may expend sums, including sums in the capital reserve fund as provided in subsection (c) of section 38a-183, for the following objects and purposes:
(1) To purchase or lease real property for the purpose of construction of a medical service facility or center, an office building, or other facility useful or necessary in the implementation of its program; (2) to purchase, lease or renovate all or part of an existing medical service facility or center, an office building, or other facility useful or necessary in the implementation of its program or to lease a part of an existing hospital; (3) to amortize capital costs for the purchase, construction or renovation of a medical service facility or center, an office building, or other facility useful or necessary in the implementation of its program; (4) to purchase or lease equipment and such property as may be required in the delivery of health care and the transaction of business of the health care center; (5) to construct facilities, including a medical service facility or center, an office building, or other facility useful or necessary in the implementation of its program, and to alter, improve or enlarge such facilities; (6) to make loans, including loans to a corporation under its control, for any of the objects and purposes heretofore prescribed; (7) to do any or all of the foregoing jointly or in association with another health care center, or jointly or in association with any other person, including any other corporation affiliated with a health care center.Conn.
