Section 19a-910a - Police officers and emergency medical technicians to provide copies of documents concerning behavioral and mental health evaluation and treatment resources available to children

On and after January 1, 2023, each police officer, as defined in section 46b-15 of the general statutes, and emergency medical technician, as defined in section 19a-904 of the general statutes, shall maintain, in any vehicle used by such officer or technician in the course of his or her duties, copies of documents concerning (1) behavioral and mental health evaluation and treatment resources available to children, developed pursuant to section 17a-22r of the general statutes for the mental health region in which such technician is located; and (2) services and resources available to victims of domestic violence, published pursuant to section 10-10g of the general statutes. Such officer or technician may provide a copy of such documents to any person or family of a person who such technician determines may benefit from the services or resources described in such documents.
