Section 42-40-2 - DefinitionsFor the purposes of this chapter:
(1)"Sending agency" means any department or agency of the federal government or a state or local government which sends any employee thereof to another government agency under this chapter.(2)"Receiving agency" means any department or agency of the federal government or a state or local government which receives an employee of another government under this chapter.G.L. 1956, § 42-40-2; P.L. 1965, ch. 233, § 1.
