Section 42-162-6 - Disclosure of address prohibited - exceptions(a) The secretary of state may not make a program participant's address, other than substitute address, available for inspection or copying, except under the following circumstances: (1) If requested by a law enforcement agency for a law enforcement purpose with an accompanying warrant; or(2) If directed by a court order, to a person identified in the order.(b) The secretary of state shall provide immediate notification of disclosure to a program participant when disclosure takes place under this section, unless specific language in a warrant or court order prohibits it.R.I.
