Section 28-60-1 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Posting of veterans' benefits and services(a) The department of labor and training shall consult with the office of veterans services to create and distribute a veterans' benefits and services poster.(b) Such poster shall, at a minimum, include information regarding the following services available to veterans: (1) Contact and website information for the office of veterans services and the department's veterans' program;(2) Substance abuse and mental health treatment;(3) Educational, workforce, and training resources;(5) Rhode Island state veteran drivers' licenses and non-driver identification cards;(6) Eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits under state and/or federal law;(8) Contact information for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs veterans crisis line.(c) Every employer in the state with more than fifty (50) full-time equivalent employees shall display the poster created pursuant to this section in a conspicuous place accessible to employees in the workplace.Added by 2024 Pub.
