Section 218:13 - Old documents; storing

The records, papers and documents of the district courts may, subject to the approval of the supervisor of public records, be stored and kept in the trial court electronic document management system or in fireproof rooms, vaults and safes, provided by the commonwealth in the towns where the divisions are respectively situated, or in the courthouses.

Amended by Acts 2022, c. 175,§ 41, eff. 11/8/2022, app. to estates of homestead arising or created before, on or after the effective date, except with respect to subject matter of any final judgment to the contrary by court of competent jurisdiction in an action commenced prior to said effective date.
