Section 38-236.07 - School Safety and Positive Climate Fund.(a) There is established as a special fund the School Safety and Positive Climate Fund ("Fund"), which shall be administered by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in accordance with subsection (c) of this section.(b) Revenue from any annual appropriation shall be deposited into the Fund.(c) Money in the Fund shall be used solely to support the activities described in section 206.(d)(1) The money deposited into the Fund shall not revert to the unrestricted fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia at the end of a fiscal year, or at any other time.(2) Subject to authorization in an approved budget and financial plan, any funds appropriated in the Fund shall be continually available without regard to fiscal year limitation.September 19, 2013, D.C. Applicability of D.C. Law 22-157: § 7151 of D.C. Law 23-16 repealed § 4 of D.C. Law 22-157. Therefore the creation of this section by D.C. Law 22-157 has been implemented.
Applicability of D.C. Law 22-157: § 4 of D.C. Law 22-157 provided that the creation of this section by § 2(c) of D.C. Law 22-157 is subject to the inclusion of the law's fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
