Section 4-1051 - Heirs' property legal assistance(a) The Mayor may issue grants to assist low-income individuals to pay for legal services necessary to obtain clear legal title to property the individual inherited either testate or intestate from a member of the individual's family.(b) The grants authorized by this section may be issued to an individual eligible for assistance under subsection (a) of this section, a legal services organization providing the legal services described in subsection (a) of this section, or to a third-party grant-managing entity for the purpose of making subgrants to such individuals or organizations on behalf of the Mayor.(c) The Mayor, pursuant to Title I of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1204; D.C.
