(a) The purpose of this subchapter is to encourage security system users and security businesses to properly use and maintain the operational effectiveness of security systems in order to improve the reliability of security systems and reduce or eliminate false alarms.(b) This subchapter governs security systems intended to summon law enforcement response, requires registration by security system users, establishes a system of administration, and provides for the enforcement of penalties for violations of this section. 76 Del.
