Section 53-a - Deed to be recorded by county treasurer

That any grantee or purchaser entitled to a deed from the county treasurer as herein set forth, shall, in addition to the payments herein before required to pay to the county treasurer an amount sufficient to record such deed in the county clerk's office. All payments for the recording of the deed shall be made payable to the county clerk. Any such conveyance shall be duly recorded by the county treasurer in the county clerk's office of Suffolk county prior to the delivery of such deed to the grantee or purchaser.
