Section 179.05 - [Effective Until 7/5/2028] Criminal diversion of medical cannabis; limitationsThe provisions of this article shall not apply to:
1. a practitioner authorized to issue a certification who acted in good faith in the lawful course of his or her profession; or2. a registered organization as that term is defined in section thirty-four of the cannabis law who acted in good faith in the lawful course of the practice of pharmacy; or3. a person who acted in good faith seeking treatment for a medical condition or assisting another person to obtain treatment for a medical condition.Amended by New York Laws 2021, ch. 92,Secs. 41, 47 eff. 3/31/2021.Added by New York Laws 2014, ch. 90,Sec. 9, eff. 7/5/2014.
