Section 255-A - Power of courts over docket

A court has the same power and jurisdiction concerning the docket of its judgment kept by the county clerk of the county in which it was rendered that it has concerning the docket kept by its own clerk; the judgment may be docketed and changes effected in the docket in the county clerk's office of any other county only upon the filing of a transcript or certificate of change issued by the county clerk of the county in which the judgment was rendered.
