Section 546 - Payment to parent or support collection unit(a) The court may require the payment to be made to the parent having custody of the child or to the support collection unit as designated by the appropriate social services district.(b) The support collection unit as designated by the appropriate social services district shall report to the court as the court may direct, the amounts received and paid over.N.Y.
