Section 445 - Order of support by relative; duration(a) If the court finds after a hearing that a relative, including a step-parent, should be held responsible under section four hundred fifteen for support, the court in its discretion may make an order requiring such person to contribute a fair and reasonable sum for the support of such person.(b) For good cause shown, the court may at any time terminate or modify an order made under this section.N.Y.
