Section 24-18-305 - Use of facial recognition service - training of users required(1) An agency using a facial recognition service must conduct periodic training of all individuals who operate a facial recognition service or who process personal data obtained from the use of a facial recognition service.(2) The training required by subsection (1) of this section must include coverage of: (a) The capabilities and limitations of the facial recognition service;(b) Procedures to interpret and act on the output of the facial recognition service; and(c) To the extent applicable to the deployment context, the meaningful human review requirement for decisions that produce legal effects concerning individuals or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.Added by 2022 Ch. 463,§4, eff. 8/10/2022. 2022 Ch. 463, was passed without a safety clause.
