Section 12-315-114 - Unauthorized practice - penalties(1) No person who practices veterinary medicine without a currently valid license may receive any compensation for services so rendered.(2) Any person who practices or offers or attempts to practice veterinary medicine without an active license issued under this part 1 is subject to penalties pursuant to section 12-20-407(1)(a).(3) The board or a citizen of this state may bring an action to enjoin a person from practicing veterinary medicine without a currently valid license. If the court finds that the person is violating, or is threatening to violate, this part 1, the court may enter an injunction restraining the person from the unlawful acts.(4) The successful maintenance of an action based on any one of the remedies set forth in this section shall in no way prejudice the prosecution of an action based on any other of the remedies.Amended by 2022 Ch. 442,§15, eff. 8/10/2022.Renumbered from C.R.S. §12-64-114 and amended by 2019 Ch. 136,§1, eff. 10/1/2019.L. 67: R&RE, p. 364, § 1.
