Section 46.2-1549.2 - Special license plate combinationA. The Commissioner may issue, upon request of a licensed dealer and when the Commissioner determines that such issuance is feasible, a license plate that is a combination of (i) one series of special license plate authorized pursuant to Article 10 (§ 46.2-725 et seq.) of Chapter 6 and currently issued by the Department and (ii) one type of dealer's license plate authorized pursuant to this article. Such license plate shall be subject to all provisions of this article.B. The fee for any combination license plate issued pursuant to this section shall be the sum of the fee for the applicable special license plate and the fee for the applicable dealer's license plate. Such fee shall be disbursed in the manner required for special license plates and for dealer's license plates, as if two such plates had been issued separately.C. The Commissioner may issue multiple combination license plates to a single licensed dealer in a manner the Commissioner determines is feasible.Added by Acts 2020 c. 60, § 1, eff. 7/1/2020.
