(a) In addition to any duties set forth elsewhere, the Commission shall:(1) represent the State in the National Conference;(2) meet with representatives of other states in the National Conference;(3) draft uniform laws and model acts for submission to and adoption by the states;(4) recommend the best action to accomplish uniformity in legislation; and(5) otherwise seek the best means to obtain uniformity in the laws of the states.(b)(1) Before each regular session of the General Assembly, the Commission shall submit an annual report:(ii) subject to § 2-1257 of this article, to the General Assembly.(2) The annual report shall: (i) describe the activities of the Commission; and(ii) include recommendations on appropriate subjects.
