Section 5-301 - In general(a) Except as otherwise provided by law, this section does not apply to a requirement or violation of: (1) Subtitle 4 of this title;(2) Title 7, Subtitle 1 of this article;(3) Title 8, Subtitles 1 and 3 of this article; or(4) Title 9, Subtitle 3 of this article.(b) A public service company: (1) shall comply fully with the requirements of this division; and(2) may not violate any provision of this division.
