Section 13-401 - Nuisances(a) This section applies to all counties except:(6) Prince George's County;(7) Queen Anne's County; and(b) The provisions of §§ 9-105 and 9-106 of this article apply to an act, an ordinance, or a resolution adopted by a commission county under this section.(c) The governing body of a county may:(1) prevent and remove nuisances; and(2) prevent the introduction of contagious diseases into the county.(d) The governing body of a county may approve the location for:(2) fertilizer manufacturing;(5) any other facility that may involve conditions that are unsanitary or detrimental to health.(e) This section does not affect: (1) the powers and duties of the Secretary of Health;(2) the powers and duties of the Secretary of the Environment; or(3) any other public general law that relates to health.Revised and recodified by 2013 Md.
