Section 8-6A-17 - Authority of Board(a) The authority of the Board established under this subtitle: (1) Vests with the Board at the time an individual applies for certification;(2) Continues during periods of certification; and(3) Includes authority over an individual holding an expired certificate, a lapsed certificate, or a temporary certificate that has expired under § 8-6A-07(f) of this subtitle.(b) The authority of the Board shall be continuous over an individual applicant or certificate holder and may not be divested by withdrawal of an application, when a certificate expires or lapses, or when a temporary certificate expires.Added by 2014 Md.
