Section 11-306 - Issuance of license(a) The Board shall issue a license to any applicant who: (1) Meets the requirements of this title; (2) Pays to the Board the license fee set by the Board; and(3) Submits to a criminal history records check in accordance with § 11-302.1 of this subtitle.(b) On receipt of the criminal history record information of an applicant for licensure, in determining whether to grant a license, the Board shall consider:(1) The age at which the crime was committed;(2) The nature of the crime;(3) The circumstances surrounding the crime;(4) The length of time that has passed since the crime;(5) Subsequent work history;(6) Employment and character references; and(7) Other evidence that demonstrates whether the applicant poses a threat to public health or safety.Amended by 2024 Md.
