Section 5-802 - [Effective 1/1/2033] Established; purpose(a) There is a Mortality Review Committee established within the Department.(b) The purpose of the Committee is to prevent avoidable deaths and to improve the quality of care provided to persons with developmental disabilities.Amended by 2022 Md. Laws, Ch. 221, Sec. 1, eff. 10/1/2022. 2022 Md. Laws, Ch. 221, Sec. 1 extended the date for abrogation of the amendment by 2009 M. Laws Chs. 48 and 49 to the end of 12/31/2032.
