Section 3-304 - Compensation; special appointment status(a) The health officer for a county is entitled to: (1) The salary provided in the State budget;(2) Reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget; and(3) Any additional salary that the county provides.(b) Except as otherwise provided by law, each health officer is a special appointment in the State Personnel Management System.
