Section 7-501 - Black History Month(a) The Governor annually shall proclaim the month of February as Black History Month in recognition of the historical contributions that Black Americans have made to the State.(b) The proclamation shall urge educational and cultural organizations to observe Black History Month properly with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.Added by 2014 Md.
