Section 24-305 - [Repealed](a) The Board shall appoint a Director of the Center.(b) The Director shall: (1) Report directly to the Board;(2) Recommend the appointment by the Board of employees necessary for the efficient administration of the Center;(3) Recommend the discharge of employees for good cause and in accordance with applicable laws and policies;(4) Be responsible to the Board for the conduct of the Center and for its administration and supervision;(5) Attend all meetings of the Board, except those involving the Director's personal position;(6) Subject to the policies and guidelines of the Commission:(i) Develop a mission statement;(ii) Submit the mission statement to the Board of Governors of the Center; and(iii) Upon the direction of the Board of Governors, update the mission statement every 4 years; and(7) Perform other duties as assigned by the Board.Repealed by 2018 Md. Laws, Ch. 402, Sec. 1, eff. 3/1/2019.
