Section 1-609 - Warrants; writs(a) When and in the manner authorized by law, a District Court judge may issue: (1) Warrants of arrest; and(2) Warrants for search and seizure or for interception of communications.(b) A District Court judge may issue: (1) Writs of habeas corpus ad testificandum or ad prosequendum; and(2) Writs of error coram nobis.
