Section 3-204 - Quorum; meetings and hearings; compensation; staff(a) A majority of the authorized membership of the Board is a quorum.(b) The Board shall determine the times and places of its meetings and hearings.(c) A member of the Board: (1) may not receive compensation; but(2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.(d)(1) The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the State budget.(2) The Board may require the staff to be covered by a surety bond or an insurance policy of the type and in the amount of coverage determined by the State Treasurer under § 5-108 of the State Government Article.Amended by 2024 Md.
