Section 40-26-30 - Applicability of chapterThe provisions of this chapter do not apply to:
(A) a person employed by the State of South Carolina or any political subdivision of the State as a code enforcement official when acting within the scope of that employment;(B) a person inspecting a commercial structure exclusively for the use of a bank, savings and loan association, or credit union, unless otherwise required by federal law or regulation.1994 Act No. 463, Section 4.
