Section 515J.9 - Cancellation and nonrenewal - notice1. Notice of cancellation or nonrenewal of private residential flood insurance, other than for nonpayment of premium, shall be made and provided to the policyholder a minimum of forty-five days before the cancellation or nonrenewal of the flood insurance, and in compliance with the applicable provisions of sections 515.129A, 515.129B, and 515.129C.2. Notwithstanding subsection 1, notice of cancellation of private residential flood insurance for nonpayment of the premium, or fraud or misrepresentation on the application for the flood insurance, shall be made and provided to the policyholder in compliance with the applicable provisions of sections 515.129A, 515.129B, and 515.129C.Added by 2021 Iowa, ch 73, s 9, eff. 7/1/2021.
